Where We Shopped

Treasure Hunt Antique Mall is appropriately named! The strip mall spot doesn’t look like much from the outside but is a real treasure trove, especially for glass. We saw a lot of Burmese glass. Sammi came on her own and I joined her later, where she found a Snoopy glass for her collection.
Where to Drink
We grabbed a post-shopping pint at Skint Chestnut Brewing Company, the first brewery in the area, located in historic downtown Powder Springs. As the weather started to cool, I loved the smoked porter on nitro. They also have food trucks from local restaurants.
Where to Eat Nearby
Part store and part restaurant, the Collett Country Store and Johnny’s BBQ is known for its barbecue and selling a variety of items including soap, boots, knives, and old-fashioned toys.
Dragon 168 is a Chinese restaurant around the corner with staples like Mongolian beef and Chow Mein. Nibbles kitchen and bar is in downtown Powder Springs with tacos and burgers.
