Where We Shopped

In this episode, we went to the sprawling Scott’s Antique Market, a monthly market spread across two large expo centers south of Atlanta. While we’ll dive into this further in the future, it’s a great spot to pick up fine furnishings, artwork, and glassware.
Where to Drink

One of our favorites is Red’s Beer Garden, a restaurant and beer bar not far from Scott’s. It has an incredible selection of bottles and cans from across the country, along with delicious hot dogs and sandwiches!
Arches Brewing is the southside’s only craft brewery, located in charming Hapeville. It has a nice lineup of German-inspired beers, plus a large tasting room and patio.
If you’re not a beer drinker, North 2 South Cider in Lake City has cider, seltzer, and kombucha.
Where to Eat Nearby

This part of the city has incredible international dining. Mami’s La Cubana is a favorite Cuban restaurant in Hapeville that is popular with the nearby Delta employees.
Pho Dai Loi in Forest Park has excellent Vietnamese food with traditional dishes like pho, bun bo hue, and banh mi sandwiches. Boniks African Cuisine serves Nigerian food, while Las Tortas Ahogadas has delicious sandwiches from Guadalajara, Mexico.
Other Places to Shop

Located on the grounds of the drive-in theater, the Starlight Flea Market is only 50 cents to go to and has a wide range of items, including handcrafted clothing, tools, food, and antiques.
Northside Material is a building supply store with doors and materials but also carries items used in television and film and salvaged signs.
