Where We Shopped

In this episode, we went to Peachtree Battle Antiques & Interiors, a longtime Atlanta store that recently moved to the city’s Westside neighborhood. The sprawling space specializes in European antiques and furniture. We loved the vintage lighters and etched glasses and came home two colors of Blenko pitchers.

Where to Drink

Monday Night Brewing (West End Location) was our chosen place for a post-shopping pint. We love the large space on the Beltline with plentiful parking, great beers, and a new pizzeria.

But it’s one of many options in this area. On the Westside, closer to the shop, are two of our favorites, Second Self Brewing and Steady Hand Brewing. A short drive away on the West End, you can sip more beer at Wild Heaven or visit the outpost of American Spirit Works distillery.

Where to Eat Nearby

There is no shortage of great places to eat on this side of town. Nuevo Laredo Cantina is an old-school Mexican restaurant whose parking lot is always full. Don’t skip the margaritas!

Chattahoochee Food Works is a new food hall with a diverse lineup of offerings (South African! Thai! Seafood!) as well as a brewpub. I also love Henri’s Bakery, which has delicious baked goods and sandwiches.

Star Provisions is a chef-owned cafe and store with an incredibly curated selection of home decor and gifts. Browse while you wait for your sandwich and coffee. Slim and Husky’s is another favorite, with build-your-own pizzas.

Other Places to Shop

If you still haven’t had enough, the West End has some interesting shops as well. Atlanta Used Furniture started as an online business but now has a massive warehouse of midcentury furniture and more.

If you’re doing a construction project, Lifecycle Building Center is a must-see, with salvaged doors, sinks, and more.
